But Spiderweb studios does make rpgs and they make hella good ones, so i've played all of them. I'm a fan of Bethesda, but that doesn't mean that all their games are for me nor have i played them all. Where is the creative freedom in that? I would be guessing that after making a certain amount of games in a series (Avernum, Avadon, Geneforge) that when you start on a new one (Queen's wish) that you want it to be unique and not just reskin of other series, because then why don't just make another in that series? Then again i guess thats what some of you wants, but that doesn't mean that you just belittle a actual good game just because you don't like some aspects of the game, just don't play it then. But i kinda feel like some people are hating abit on the Queen's Wish series, just because its a different game from the others gameplay wise, like isn't the developer allowed to create something new? It would be like saying that a company is only allowed to make rpgs and that they have to be just like all the others before it. I just really wanted to say that i've enjoyed all of the games so far, of course theres been games that i enjoyed more than others, but that doesn't mean that any have been bad games. and I think a few of your past games also cleared summons on death of the summoner).ĭo that, and you've got a perfect game in my book.Just bought the game, and are very much looking forward to playing it. I humbly request that summoned creatures either grant XP, or that they disappear when their summoner dies (as they sometimes do in certain special encounters. Especially since a very large percentage of enemies seems to be able to summon something so there's almost always some extra garbage to take out after a fight. I find, frequently, especially with creatures that summon the floating fireball / iceball which seem to evade most of the time, I will kill all the original enemies and then be stuck basically taking out the garbage. That said, there's one nit I gotta pick with you - it has always irritated me that enemy summons not only stick around after the enemy that summoned them dies, but they also don't grant XP on death. I love your games, I've played all of them and I've been a loyal fan for probably decades now.
